Junos OS: SRX Series, QFX Series, MX Series and EX Series: Receiving specific HTTPS traffic causes resource exhaustion
HIGH (7.5)
An Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the http daemon (httpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series, QFX Series, MX Series and EX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause Denial-of-Service (DoS).
An attacker can send specific HTTPS connection requests to the device, triggering the creation of processes that are not properly terminated. Over time, this leads to resource exhaustion, ultimately causing the device to crash and restart.
The following command can be used to monitor the resource usage:
user@host> show system processes extensive | match mgd | count
This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series and EX Series:
All versions before 21.4R3-S7,
from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S4,
from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S3,
from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S2,
from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S1,
from 23.4 before 23.4R1-S2, 23.4R2.

Junos OS: QFX10000 Series: All traffic will be dropped after a specific valid IP packet has been received which needs to be routed over a VXLAN tunnel
HIGH (7.5)
An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX10000 Series allows a network based attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).
If a specific valid IP packet is received and that packet needs to be routed over a VXLAN tunnel, this will result in a PFE wedge condition due to which traffic gets impacted. As this is not a crash and restart scenario, this condition will persist until the system is rebooted to recover.
This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX10000:
20.3 version 20.3R1 and later versions;
20.4 versions prior to 20.4R3-S5;
21.1 versions prior to 21.1R3-S5;
21.2 versions prior to 21.2R3-S5;
21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3-S4;
21.4 versions prior to 21.4R3-S1;
22.1 versions prior to 22.1R3;
22.2 versions prior to 22.2R2;
22.3 versions prior to 22.3R1-S2, 22.3R2.

Junos OS: QFX Series: The PFE may crash when a lot of MAC addresses are being learned and aged
MEDIUM (5.3)
A Use After Free vulnerability in the Layer 2 Address Learning Manager (l2alm) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX Series allows an adjacent attacker to cause the Packet Forwarding Engine to crash and restart, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). The PFE may crash when a lot of MAC learning and aging happens, but due to a Race Condition (Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization) that is outside the attackers direct control. This issue affects: Juniper Networks Junos OS versions prior to 19.4R3-S10 on QFX Series; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R3-S7 on QFX Series; 20.3 versions prior to 20.3R3-S6 on QFX Series; 20.4 versions prior to 20.4R3-S5 on QFX Series; 21.1 versions prior to 21.1R3-S4 on QFX Series; 21.2 versions prior to 21.2R3-S3 on QFX Series; 21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3-S3 on QFX Series; 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R3 on QFX Series; 22.1 versions prior to 22.1R3 on QFX Series; 22.2 versions prior to 22.2R2 on QFX Series.

Junos OS: QFX10002: Failure of storm control feature may lead to Denial of Service
MEDIUM (6.5)
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions within the storm control feature of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an attacker sending a high rate of traffic to cause a Denial of Service. Continued receipt and processing of these packets will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. Storm control monitors the level of applicable incoming traffic and compares it with the level specified. If the combined level of the applicable traffic exceeds the specified level, the switch drops packets for the controlled traffic types. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX10002: All versions prior to 19.3R3-S7; 19.4 versions prior to 19.4R3-S11; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R3-S6; 20.4 versions prior to 20.4R3-S5; 21.1 versions prior to 21.1R3-S4; 21.2 versions prior to 21.2R3-S3; 21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3; 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R2.

Junos OS: QFX10002: PFE wedges and restarts upon receipt of specific malformed packets
MEDIUM (6.5)
An Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in packet processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS on QFX10002 allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker on the local broadcast domain sending a malformed packet to the device, causing all PFEs other than the inbound PFE to wedge and to eventually restart, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition. Continued receipt and processing of this packet will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. This issue can only be triggered by sending a specific malformed packet to the device. Transit traffic does not trigger this issue.
