CVE:CVE-2026-7624 |
vulnerable | 2026-06-08 08:08:57.485624 |
SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO <= 12.4.16 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Contributor+) Privileged Cloud API Operations
MEDIUM (4.3)
The SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 12.4.16. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to invoke privileged state-changing Squirrly cloud API operations, such as revoking the site's Google Search Console and Google Analytics integrations via `api/gsc/revoke` and `api/ga/revoke`, that are otherwise restricted to administrator-level users holding the `sq_manage_settings` capability.

SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO <= 12.4.05 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) SQL Injection via search Parameter
MEDIUM (6.5)
The SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the 'search' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 12.4.05 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

MEDIUM (4.3)
The SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the sq_ajax_uninstall function in all versions up to, and including, 12.4.14. HIGH (8.8)
The SEO Plugin by Squirrly SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘url’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 12.3.19 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
