CVE:CVE-2026-2429 |
vulnerable | 2026-06-08 07:55:17.033485 |
Community Events <= 1.5.8 - Authenticated (Administrator+) SQL Injection via 'ce_venue_name' CSV Field
MEDIUM (4.9)
The Community Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'ce_venue_name' CSV field in the `on_save_changes_venues` function in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.8. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied CSV data and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via a crafted CSV file upload.

Community Events <= 1.5.7 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'ce_venue_name' Parameter
MEDIUM (4.4)
The Community Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'ce_venue_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Community Events <= 1.5.6 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Arbitrary Event Approval via 'eventlist' Parameter
MEDIUM (5.3)
The Community Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the ajax_admin_event_approval() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.6. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to approve arbitrary events via the 'eventlist' parameter.

Community Events <= 1.5.4 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection
HIGH (7.5)
The Community Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'dayofyear' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

HIGH (7.2)
The Community Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via event details parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
