CVE:CVE-2026-64773 |
vulnerable | 2026-11-03 10:16:31.722289 |
Details available
An attacker that can reach a container's published TCP port may be able to force the host's forwarding process to buffer an unbounded amount of that client's data in memory, for as long as the backend container connection takes to complete — with no cap on how much accumulates or how long the wait can be stretched. This vulnerability is addressed in container version 1.2.0.

CVE:CVE-2026-113951 |
vulnerable | 2026-11-03 10:16:27.619890 |
Details available
If an attacker can write to the filesystem of a container k8s cluster container, they can plant an exec credential plugin in /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf. kubectl will run that plugin as the macOS host user the next time someone pulls the cluster's kubeconfig onto the host with container k8s write-config or create and then runs kubectl against it — turning filesystem access inside an untrusted Linux container into arbitrary command execution on the host. This vulnerability is addressed in Container version 1.5.0.

CVE:CVE-2026-113957 |
vulnerable | 2026-11-03 10:16:27.394359 |
Details available
An attacker who controls the registry, a mirror, or the network path to it may be able to serve arbitrary image content in response to a pull by digest, so that a user runs an image other than the one they pinned. The fix compares the returned digest to the pinned digest and fails the pull on a mismatch. Tag pulls are exempt, because a tag is mutable by design. The fix also verifies the hash of manifests and blobs when they are fetched. This vulnerability is addressed in container version 1.6.0 and containerization version 0.52.1.

CVE:CVE-2026-20613 |
vulnerable | 2026-06-08 07:49:12.287207 |
Details available
The ArchiveReader.extractContents() function used by cctl image load and container image load performs no pathname validation before extracting an archive member. This means that a carelessly or maliciously constructed archive can extract a file into any user-writable location on the system using relative pathnames. This issue is addressed in container 0.8.0 and containerization 0.21.0.
